On Writing: Publishing Preparation

I spent the last two hours preparing a query letter and a synopsis to hand out to literary agents. Never had I imagined that two pages would sap all my energy reserves. Although I know that my chances of being accepted by a traditional publisher are close to null, I feel satisfied with the effort. If my book ever gets published, I promise to post both letters on this blog.

You should go into it with a more positive attitude! I’m not sure how much experience you have with query letters; have you read example queries before or blogs by agents who talk about things they hate to see in a query letter?
    Good Luck!

Once when I was 22, I wrote a REALLY bad query letter and sent it out- only to get rejections. Now I know better, ie: how to write them and who to send them to. Good Luck! It’s all a learning experience anyway.
